So I finished my finger blankets, but it took me a bit to finally take pictures. These work exactly as I had envisioned, and within abotu 5 minutes of putting these on when I am freezing at work, my fingers are warm. So it has been a while... Sometimes life just gets in the way. Hannah has started softball again, and for a while it was 3 days a week of practice, plus 2 games on Sunday. Mercifully Liz and Hannah started school the week after Labor day and tha schedule subsided, and Ted is a happy camper with all the kids back in school. Well, I'm on vacation, but have not vacated yet... I spent the weekend prepping the front bathroom for a makeover, and Monday, yesterday and today taking out everything except the tub, painting over the very dark purple, first with 2 coats of primer, then a coat of what was called "flax" which should have been a nice buttery yellow - but ended up being a bright light yellow that looked horrible.
